Zen Master Bon Haeng (Mark Houghton) is a guiding teacher of the Cambridge Zen Center. He is one of the original founding members of the center, and previously served as the abbot for twelve years. He received dharma transmission from Zen Master Seung Sahn in 2000. A student of Zen Master Seung Sahn since the mid-1970s, he holds a BA in Religion and Philosophy from Antioch College. Prior to practicing Zen he was an avid yoga practitioner. Currently he also teaches Zen Buddhism at Boston University and at various Zen centers in the Northeast and Florida.
